The fact it required until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase above 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

"A chance to go out there and lock in a contest with her and simply enjoy myself in that aspect, kind of motivated me," said Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 deliveries - her swiftest at the World Cup - and her hundred in 84 deliveries while she attacked short-pitched balls, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

Once she was out Australia needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm pleased we have the belief to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, if we do, we know we can achieve it."

Those words will be the last Australia's opponents at this championship need to hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will win from any position has grown stronger - this success following success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a meeting with longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a last-four spot may well be secure.
