Lando Norris Tops Oscar Piastri in Sao Paulo Practice
Lando Norris has outperformed Oscar Piastri at each of the previous five race weekends.
Lando Norris edged out team-mate and championship contender the Australian for the top spot in the final moments of practice at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
Norris, who grabbed the title advantage from his teammate by one point after taking the win in Mexico City a fortnight back, outpaced the Australian by 0.023 seconds.
Until that point, Oscar Piastri had been the fastest McLaren driver during the running before sprint qualifying set to begin at 18:30 GMT.
The Red Bull star, the other racer in the championship fight, trailing 36 points Norris, finished in 17th position as his Red Bull team followed a alternative strategy.

The Aston Martin of Fernando Alonso was fourth fastest, with Sauber's Gabriel Bortoleto ahead of Mercedes' Russell and Alpine's Gasly and Williams' Sainz.
